Gladys Vickery was born October 18, 1923 and departed this life Tuesday, September 29, 2009 reaching the age of 85 years. She was the daughter of the late Elo Dalton and Tella Piercy Dalton.

She is survived by: her husband, Robert "Bob" Vickery of Monticello, KY, 2 sons, Dan and Paul Vickery both of Monticello, KY, 2 daughters, Ann Vickery of Bowling Green, KY and Jane (Mike) Brown of Columbia, TN, 3 grandchildren, Darran and Derrick Vickery and Laura Brown, and 2 great grandchildren, Ben and Luke Vickery. She is also survived by: 1 sister, Lucille May of Stanford, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Elo and Tella Dalton.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation: Thursday, October 1st after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Friday, October 2nd at 10 am
Interment: Shearer Valley Church Cemetery
