Gladys Jewell Huffaker Ramsey Boydston was born February 19, 1932, and departed this life Monday, August 21, 2023 reaching the age of 91 years. She was the daughter of the late Charles Huffaker and Alta May Huffaker.

She is survived by: two sons, Richard H. Ramsey (Thelma, dec) and Van A. Ramsey (Joann); seven grandchildren, Virginia Carrender, Barbara Matthews, Richie Ramsey, Taunya Stapleton, Audrey Barran, Cassie Ramsey, and Nathan Ramsey; 15 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren; one sister, Joyce White; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her late husbands, Richard Ramsey and Carl Boydston; one son, James Ramsey; one sister, Evalee Barker; and one infant brother.

She retired from Belden in Richmond, Indiana in 1992 after 32 years employment and moved back to Monticello in 1994.

A celebration of life will be held later and will be announced once scheduled.
