GLADYS MAE RAMSEY FRANKLIN was born May 9, 1930 and departed this life Wednesday, April 04, 2007 reaching the age of 76 years. She was the daughter of the late Harrison and Gertrude (Barnes) Ramsey.

She is survived by: her husband, Oscar Franklin of Monticello, KY; three daughters, Sandra Troxell, Linda Jones, and Patsy West all of Monticello, KY; and five grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Edward Ramsey of Albany, KY; and one sister, Mary Lois Deering of Jonesboro, GA; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Harrison and Gertrude Ramsey; four brothers, Hugh, Guy, Howard, and James Ramsey; and three sisters, Ruby Upchurch, Anna Shelton, and Rosa Ramsey.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
