Gilbert "Gibb" Neal was born March 23, 1941 and departed this life Sunday, November 8, 2015 reaching the age of 74 years. He was the son of the late John and Mollie (Blevins) Neal.

He married Eula Faye Thompson and to this union two children were born.

He is survived by: his sons, Roy (Becky) Neal, Bobby (Karen McCullough) Neal; two grandchildren and one great grandchild; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, John and Mollie Neal, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Eula Faye Neal; one brother, Earl Neal; and three sisters, Ella Maye Green, Mary Ellen Guffey, and Ruth Ann Walker.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 1pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
