Obituary
Gertrude Wells, age 87, of the Cooper community, wife of William E. Wells, Sr., passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2003 at the Casey County Hospital in Liberty, Ky.
In additiona to her husband, she is survived by 6 sons- William E. Wells, Jr., Joel, Kenneth, Allen, Bobby, David, and Harold; 1 daughter- Wanda Louise Meade; 3 stepbrothers- Irvin, Jimmy, and Terry Yancey; 4 stepsisters- Ruth, Peggy, Patricia, and Nell.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Janaury 22, 2003 from 5-9 PM in the chapel. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 23, 2003 at 10 AM in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
Visitation: Wednesday, January 22,2003 from 5-9 PM in the chapel
Funeral Service: Thursday, January 23, 2003 at 10 AM in the chapel
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
