Gertrude "Marie" Neal was born May 6, 1933 and departed this life Saturday, August 29, 2020 reaching the age of 87 years. She was the daughter of the late Charles Arthur Crabtree and Artie Crabtree.

She is survived by: three sons, Charles Neal, Jerry Neal, and Gary Neal; one daughter, Katy Hollis; 11 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Herbert Neal; one son, David Crabtree; one brother, Charles Crabtree; and two sisters, Rosalee "Rose" Smith and Jewel Weaver.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 between 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 1:30 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Tuttle's Chapel Cemetery.
