Georgia Diane Hill was born January 22, 1956 and departed this life April 18, 2021 reaching the age of 65 years. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Grace (Catron) Denney.

She is survived by: her children, Shannon (Elaine) Hersley and Mindy (Donald Brummett) Hersley; four grandchildren, MaKayla Charles, Courtney Hersley, Helena Hersley, and Dillon Brummett; and two great grandchildren, Kensley Slavey and Kameron Charles. She is also survived by:  four brothers, James, Junior, Kenny and Tim Denney; and one sister, Jean Kempton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Willie and Grace Denney, she was preceded in death by: two brothers, Russell and Robert Denney; and two sisters, Ina Sue Denney and Alice Denney Meredith.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 22, 2021 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. (Facebook LiveStream to begin at 12:45pm.) Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance.
