Georgia (Clark) Hicks was born March 3, 1923 and departed this life Sunday, November 24, 2019 reaching the age of 96 years. She was the daughter of the late Martin McKinney and Ellen Clark.

She married Wesley Delmer Hicks and to this union 7 children were born.

She is survived by: two sons, Jerry Hicks (Melba) of Clinton County and Roger Hicks (Sharon) of Monticello, KY; one daughter, Rita Hicks of Alpha, KY; one daughter-in-law, Mona Hicks; 5 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Delmer Hicks; one daughter, Charlene Bell; three sons, Johnnie Ike Hicks, Robert Franklin "Frank" Hicks and Dillon Reed Hicks.

Georgie always said what kept her going was her kids.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Davis Chapel Cemetery.
