Obituary
George Humble was born July 22, 1931 and departed this life Wednesday, January 09, 2008 reaching the age of 76 years. He was the son of the late George Washington Humble and Leata Margaret Miller Humble.
He is survived by: his wife, Sherry Humble, five sons - Douglas Gene Humble, Dean Allen (Darlena) Humble, Daryl Wayne (Terri) Humble, and Samuel Edward Humble; two daughters – Sherry (Tom) Williams and Sarah Allene Humble, 14 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters – Bessie Allene Cromer and Nancy Maxine Humble; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by: his parents - George and Leata Humble, two sons - George Steven and David Lynn Humble, and three brothers- Hobart Ray, James, and Claude Humble, and three sisters- Lona Russell, Lou Foster, and Sula Mae Humble.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Friday,January 11th between 11 am - 1 pm
Funeral Service: Graveside, January 11th at 1 pm
Interment: Parnell Baptist Church Cemetery
