Obituary
GEORGE HICKS was born February 23, 1939 and departed this life August 11, 2006 reaching the age of 67 years. He was the son of the late Marvin D. Hicks and Mildred Hazel Rains Hicks.
He was united in marriage to Roxie Crabtree and to this union three children were born.
He is survived by his wife, Roxie Hicks of Monticello, KY; one son, Steven Hicks of Bronston, KY; two daughters, Christina Spradlin and Sharon Hicks both of Monticello, KY; two grandchildren, Stephanie and William Hicks; and one sister, Nellie Ofiel Hall of Dayton, OH; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Mildred Hicks.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Saturday, August 12th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Sunday, August 13th at 2 pm
Interment: Hicks Cemetery
