George Brown was born June 19, 1948 and departed this life Tuesday, May 5, 2009 reaching the age of 60 years. He was the son of the late Shine Butler and Lucille Brown.

He was united in marriage to Tommie Woods and to this union 2 children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Tommie Brown of Monticello, KY, 1 son, David (Melissa) Brown of Somerset, KY, 1 daughter, Heather Moreland of Liberty, KY, and 5 grandchildren, Whitney, Keisha, Brianna, and Destiny Brown, and Nathanle Neeley. He is also survived by: 1 brother, Jim (Nancy) Brown of Monticello, KY, and 2 sisters, Sue (Billy) Vaughn of Monticello, KY and Diana Asberry of Indiana; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Shine and Lucille Butler.

H was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
