Gene Clark was born April 23, 1950 and departed this life on Friday, October 14, 2016 having reached the age of 66 years. He was the son of the late James Porter and Anna Ree (Glover) Clark.

He is survived by his wife: Rebecca Clark; together they have five children: David (Stephanie) Clark, Troy (Nichole) Clark, Christy (Jamie) Parmley, Joni (Kris) Upchurch, and Amber Crabtree; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters: Linda Shults of Indiana and Kay Joerg of Monticello.

In addition to his parents, James Porter and Anna Ree Clark, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Clark.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 17, 2016 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 1pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
