Gary Higginbotham was born March 25, 1947, and departed this life Monday, February 20, 2023, reaching the age of 75 years. He was the son of the late Charles Earl and Oval (Barnette) Higginbotham.

He is survived by: aunts, Barbara Black and Bertha Hurt; numerous cousins; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his brother, Charles Higginbotham; and one sister, Patricia Roberts.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 23, 2023, between 12 pm – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
