Obituary
Garlin "Regil" Godsey was born March 26, 1935 and departed this life Monday, September 6, 2010 reaching the age of 75. He was the son of the late Oscar and Alcie (Hardwick) Godsey.
He is survived by: his wife, Margaret Godsey of Monticello, KY; 2 brothers, Marble Godsey and Benton Godsey of Monticello, KY; and 1 sister, Renda West of Hickman, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Oscar and Alcie, he was preceded in death by: 3 sisters, Lizzie, Gertie, and Ollie.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 4 – 6 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 6 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
