Fronia Curtis Pennycuff was born March 16, 1947 and departed this life Tuesday, August 25, 2021 reaching the age of 74 years. She was the daughter of the late Virgil and Susie Mae (Marcum) Huckaby.

She married George Pennycuff and to this union seven children were born.

She is survived by: her husband, George Pennycuff; her children, David (Lois) Pennycuff, Patricia (Leslie) Burke, Jamie (Leslie) Tucker, Tony (Amanda) Pennycuff, Joanna (Ricky) Jones, Phillip (Melissa) Pennycuff, and Jannie (Michael) Gregory; one sister, Bertha Saylor; 13 grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 17 step-great-grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Virgil and Susie Mae Huckaby, she was preceded in death by: one grandson, Malcom Pennycuff; three brothers, Ruben Huckaby, Edward "Harley" Huckaby, and Huey Huckaby; four sisters, Relda Daniels, Maude Godsey, Dorothy Riddle, and Eva Daniels.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 27, 2021 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Old Bethel Church Cemetery.
