Obituary
Freeman Martin was born August 2nd, 1923 in Ritner, KY and departed this life Thursday, March 20th, 2003, reaching the age of 79 years. He was the son of Virgil Martin and Flora Bryant Martin.
He is survived by his wife Mary Dishman Hicks Martin, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers-Oakley and Clyde Martin and two sisters-Opal Corder and Stella Martin.
He served his country bravely as a member of the United States Armed Forces.
He was a loving husband, stepfather and grandfather, uncle, and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5:30 PM on Friday, March 21st, 2003 in the chapel and on Saturday, March 22nd from 11 AM until the funeral hour at the Steubenville Baptist Church.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Saturday, March 22nd at 2 PM at the Steubenville Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Wells officiating.
Interment: Burial will follow in the Science Hill Cemetery.
