Frankie Padgett was born March 7, 1966, and departed this life on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, reaching the age of 58 years old.  He was the son of the late Bennie Padgett and Betty Padgett Bressler.

He is survived by:  his daughter, Rachelle Padgett; his mother, Betty Padgett Bressler, and his sister, Peggy (Jeff) Parmley; four nieces, Falisha (Josh) Patrick, Mashea (Colter) Hicks, Faith (Jeremiah) Upchurch and Mylee Parmley; three great nephews, Cayden Hicks, Ryland Gibson and Uriyah Hicks; four great nieces, Kinzley Gibson, Sarai Patrick, Ember Patrick and Annistyon Upchurch.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Padgett; three great nephews, Blake and Xavier Murillo and Jericho Upchurch.

Frankie loved old cars and trucks. He could talk for hours about them to anyone who would listen. He was especially proud of his 1960 Chevy Apache.

He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 27, 2024, between 10 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Gap Creek Cemetery.
