Frank Martin York was born April 15, 1937 and departed this life Friday, November 19, 2021 reaching the age of 84 years. He was the son of the late Charlie and Lettie (Garner) York.

He married Betty Dodson on December 22, 1963 and to this union three children were born.

He is survived by: two daughters, Carol (Brian) Ford and Kristy (Tim) Reeder; three grandchildren, Nikolas Reeder, Jax Reeder, and Maverick Ford; and one sister, Brenda Hiten; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Charlie and Lettie York, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Betty York; one infant son, Gary Wayne York; and three brothers, Charles "Junior" York, Freddie "Gene" York, and Phillip York.

Frank was a mail carrier for 38 years. He was a life-long farmer and an avid horse rider. He was devoted to his family.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Spann Hill Church Cemetery.
