Frank Robert Wentz, Jr. a resident of Monticello had a heart of gold and made friends easily. Frank passed on August 1, 2022, from his struggle with colon cancer.

Frank is survived by his sisters, Pauline Fukuwa, Barbara Giltner, Donna Drivere, Cheryl Jones, and Tina Armstrong, his girlfriend, Mary Flannery, and many nephews and nieces.  He is predeceased by his sister, Kathleen Wentz, his brother, David Dilmore, his mother, Carol Dilmore, and his father, Marcus Dilmore.

Frank was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on January 11, 1954. As a youth he was nicknamed "Pokey" which reflected his enjoyment of routine and a simple lifestyle.  His loving and sweet soul touched everyone he met. Frank loved his family and was a wonderful uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

He loved and followed many sports. Frank played baseball as a young boy. Most of his life he was an avid bowler and occasionally enjoyed competitive games with his family and friends.

Frank will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

There will be no public services.
