FRANK "JACK" EDWARDS was born August 25, 1917 and departed this life September 11, 2007 reaching the age of 90 years. He was the son of the late Harve Edwards and Laura Winchester Edwards.

He married Vena Clarisse Sharp and to this union nine children were born.

He is survived by: three sons, Danny Gene, Allen Lee "Dooley", and Gary Wayne Edwards all of Monticello, KY; three daughters, Saundra Faye Young of Shoals, IN, Connie Sue Edwards and Tresa Ann Upchurch both of Monticello, KY; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Claude Edwards of Somerset, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Vena Edwards; three sons, Jack Ray, Freddy Kaye and Phillip Bruce Edwards; and two grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Harve and Laura Edwards; five brothers, Shell, Paschal, Bill, Colonel, and Roy Edwards; and seven sisters, Eva Lowe, Maude Hicks, Beulah Smith, Marietta Vaughn, Ada Davidson, Neva Bradley, and Mossie Edwards.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Service: Friday, September 14th at 11 am
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
