FRANCES FAY COX was born June 19, 1943 and departed this life July 17, 2005 reaching the age of 62 years. She was the daughter of the late John William New and Lestie Troxtell New.

She was united in marriage to Bob Will Cox and to this union four children were born.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Will Cox of Tateville, KY; one daughter, Nadine (Duane) Wells of Bronston, KY; and three sons, Robert (Theresa) Cox, Gary (Judy) Cox, and Johnny (Carolyn) Cox all of Tateville, KY; a special friend, Robert Combs of Bronston, KY; two grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

She is also survived by one brother, Billy (Janice) New of Pensacola, FL; six sisters, Linda Soldano of Jamestown, NC, Cillis Campbell of Sebring, FL, Sherry (Michael)Phillips of Oneida, TN, Maudie Helton of Somerset, KY, Christine (Cressell) Wiles of Somerset, KY, and Dorothy (Richard) Bradshaw of Tateville, KY; several nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lestie New; three brothers, Norman Dean New ( a twin), Floyd Thomas, and James Clinton New; five sisters, Pearl Young, Pauline and Brenda Sue New, Dona Copeland, and Cora Jane Shulman.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: Tuesday, July 19 after 5:30 pm and Wednesday, July 20 after 8 am
Funeral Service: Wednesday, July 20 at 1 pm
Interment: Sloans Valley Cemetery
