Obituary
Forrest Southwood was born June 21, 1943 and departed this life on Thursday, July 5, 2018 having reached the age of 75 years. He was the son of the late Irvin and Eleanor (Alexander) Southwood.
He married Phyllis Prince, and to this union two children were born.
He is survived by: his wife, Phyllis Southwood, 2 children, Luke Southwood and Jamie Southwood Baker (husband Adam); 1 brother, Lynn Southwood; 5 grandchildren, Tasha (Brad) Southwood, Harley (Lani) Southwood, Dalton Southwood, Shyanne Southwood, and Quinton Baker; and 3 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn West, Paisley Southwood, and Easton Southwood.
In addition to his parents Irvin & Eleanor Southwood, he is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert and Gary Southwood.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 11am-2pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 at 2pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Parnell Baptist Church Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Parnell Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
