Florence E. Ruth (McClellan) Gregory, 80, was born August 27, 1939 in Wayne County, KY to the late John Jefferson and Emma Jane (Butler) McClellan.

Ruthie was an avid farmer and devoted 38 years to Sunday school class at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She learned to play the banjo and loved bluegrass festivals.  She also had a big heart for animals.

Ruthie will be terribly missed by the one's that loved her the most.  She leaves behind the love of her life of 50 years, Othal R. Gregory, whom she married on August 20, 1970.  She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael D. and Tracy McClellan of Richmond, KY; 4 grandchildren: Ashley, Ryne, Nina and Destany; and numerous relatives.

Due to the Covid 19, there was a private service by invitation only by request of the family.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: your local Hospice Center or The National Cervical Cancer Coalition (NCCC).
