FLORA ETHEL MARCUM GREGORY , was born August 27, 1924 and departed this life on August 17, 2003 reaching the age of 78. She was the daughter of the late Joe and Una Marcum.

She attended Wayne County Schools. Ethel was a full time wife, mother and homemaker who always had her family in for dinner after church on Sunday. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church of Munice.

Surviving are 5 sons – Lewis (Bonnie) Bell of Galesburg, IL, Kenny (Tammy) Gregory of Albany, IN, Roger (Bert) Gregory of Muncie, IN, Glenn Gregory of Muncie, IN, Tommy (Jacky)Gregory of Albany, KY, 6 daughters – Peggy (Russell) Schweighardt of Lawrenceburg, KY, Diane Essex (companion – Kenny Meadows) of Muncie, IN, Connie Adkins, of Muncie, IN, Alice (Jerry) Friday of Adair, IL, Glenna Gregory of Muncie, IN, Bonnie Powell of Munice IN, 1 step son – Cecil (Barb) Gregory of Muncie, IN, 1 step daughter – Joyce (Selix) Burk, 1 brother – Arlie Marcum of TN, and 1 sister – Inez Dobbs of Monticello, KY, 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband – Cleve Gregory, 1 brother, 2 sisters and 1 step daughter – Imogene.

She was a loving mother, step-mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: Visitation in Monticello: Saturday, August 23 between the hours of 11:00 am and 1:00 pm
Funeral Service: Funeral services will be Thursday, August 21 at 1:00 pm in Muncie, IN
Interment: Dobbs Cemetery
