Flora Cynthia Collis was born February 26, 1935 in Burkesville, KY. She departed this life Thursday, February 3, 2022 at her home in Monticello, reaching the age of 86 years. She was the daughter of the late Buck and Eliza (Abston) Willis.

She is survived by: Barbara Simpson Laws and Pattie Simpson, who were like daughters to Flora and her husband, Shirell; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

Flora was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Sherill Collis.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 7, 2022 between 5 pm – 7 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 at 7 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at a later date in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
