Faye Parmley Gregory was born July 2, 1935, and departed this life Thursday, June 28, 2023, reaching the age of 87 years. She was one of seven children born to the late Oda and Thelma (Southwood) Parmley.

She married Ralph Gregory and to this union, one son was born.

She is survived by: Jerry Gregory (Carol); one grandchild, Ashley Kohls; and one great-grandchild, Reagan Kohls. She is also survived by:  one brother, Dan Parmley (Wilma); and two sisters, Glenna Harris (Bill) and Sandy Bell (Lynn); along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Oda and Thelma Parmley, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Gregory; two brothers, Conley Parmley, and Taylor Parmley; and one sister, Donnie Parmley Upchurch.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 6, 2023, between 5 pm – 8 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel and Friday, July 7, 2023, at 12 pm at the Parnell Baptist Church.  Funeral services will follow on Friday, July 7th at 1 pm at the Parnell Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Parnell Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to:  Parnell Baptist Church Building and Cemetery Fund.
