Fannie Rean "Fann" Humble, 86, of Cleveland, TN passed away on January 8, 2017. She was born on August 8, 1930 to the late Alfred and Ettie Parmley. Fan has lived in Cleveland since 1988 after moving here from Indiana. She was an active member of Lakeview Church of God. Fan could see the beauty in the simplest of things. She loved sketching, sewing, and was a gifted writer of poetry and short stories. Above all things, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved her family and spending time with them.
In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by one son Rick Humble; husband Gaylord Humble; sisters Grace Blevins and Esther Parmley; brothers Marshall Parmley and Martie Parmley.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory four children: Nick Humble (Sandy), April Lamberson (Joe), Brenda Miller (Mark), John Humble (Laura); daughter-in-law, Peggy Humble; sister Mimie Guffey; brother Phillip Parmley (Judy); brother in law Daniel Humble and wife Ruth; grandchildren: Michael, Jennifer, Mathew, Amy, Ashley, Dylan, Lauren Brooke, Madison, Lucas, Lindsey, Lance, Haley; great grandchildren: Haley, Trent, Jaxon, Lyric, Carsan, Sydni, Cameron, Jack, Brayden, Harper, Ethan, and Camden.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12, 2017 after 6 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11 am at the Parnell Church of God with burial to follow at the Parnell Methodist Cemetery.
