Everette Lee Dunagan was born March 6, 1926 and departed this life Thursday, November 4, 2010 reaching the age of 84. He was the son of the late James E. and Isabel (Tuggle) Dunagan.

He was united in marriage to Laura Kelsay and to this union 2 sons were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Laura Dunagan; 2 sons, Daryl (Peggy) Dunagan and Duane (Karen) Dunagan; 5 grandchildren, Ryan (Fanny) Dunagan, Alyson (Brian) Randolph, Katherine (Matt) Osborne, Megan (Ryan) Milburn, Erin Dunagan; and 5 great grandchildren, Mia Dunagan, Braxton Randolph, Ethan Milborn, Tristan Dunagan, and Annalee Osborne. He is also survived by: 1 sister, Lucy McFaul; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, James and Isabel Dunagan, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Ray Dunagan; and 1 grandchild, Cameron Rakes.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 4 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 2 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Sartin and Bro. Gordon Shearer officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
