Obituary
Evelyn Lee Smith was born November 26th, 1925 in Louisville, KY and departed this life Friday, April 25th, 2003, reaching the age of 78 years. She was the daughter of the late Jess and Ocie Lee.
She is survived by one son-Fred Ward and two daughters-Carolyn Garner and Frances Duff. She is survived by six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by two brothers-Russell and Donald Lee and two sisters-Odie B. Chriswell and Jessie Garcia, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eugene Smith, one grandchild, one sister-Marcia Gehring, and one half brother-Kenneth Lovelace.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, relative and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 4 PM on Sunday, April 27th, 2003 in the chapel.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Monday, April 28th at 1 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Interment: Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
