Eva Kelsay Collins Stokes was born December 12, 1921 and departed this life Thursday, December 11, 2014 reaching the age of 92 years. She was the daughter of the late William "Bill" and Alice Belle (Choate) Kelsay.

She is survived by: one step son, Joel Stokes, Jr.; and one step daughter, Joyce Stokes Lewis; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by: her cousin who is more like a sister, Marjorie Goff and daughter, Ginger Scott; sister-in-laws, Margaret Collins and Juanita Collins; and primary care-giver, Linda Kennedy; along with a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, care-givers, and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Bill and Alice Kelsay, she was preceded in death by: her first husband, Clint Collins; her second husband, Joe Lewis Stokes; brother, Dr. William Kelsay, Jr; and granddaughter, Hillary Stokes.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 15, 2014 after 6pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 10am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
