Eura Ann Higginbotham Guinn was born on February 13, 1942, and departed this life on Thursday, October 29, 2026, reaching the age of 84. Ann was the daughter of Raymond and Tina “Tiny” (McKinley) Higginbotham, who both preceded her in death.

Ann married Paul Edgar Guinn on April 7, 1962. They were married for sixty-four years. To the union two children were born, Paula Annette Guinn and Steven Paul Guinn.

Ann is also preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Higginbotham and her sister, Norma Jean Higginbotham. She is survived by her husband, Paul Guinn; her children, Annette Guinn and Steven (Patricia) Guinn, her two grandchildren, Steven Kent Guinn and Peri Nicole Guinn and her grand dog, Max.

She is also survived by one aunt, Barbara Black; a sister-in-law, Helen Higginbotham, as well as a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 2, 2026, between 5 pm – 8 pm and Tuesday, November 3, 2026 from 8 am - 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
