Obituary
Eula Sexton was born April 30, 1923 and departed this life Monday, January 9, 2017 reaching the age of 93 years. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Minnie (Flowers) Slagle.
She married Everette R. Sexton and to this union three children were born.
She is survived by: one son, Max Sexton; two daughters, June Williams and Patty Slagle; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Thomas and Minnie Slagle, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Everette Sexton; two brothers, Ed Slagle and Doc Slagle; and four sisters, Mary Smith, Nola Slagle, Opal Slagle, and Eva Slagle.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 after 5:30 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
