Eula Dean Bertram (Dalton), 87, of Monticello, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2021 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY. Eula Dean is preceded in death by her Husband of 50 years, Howard Lee Bertram; Parents, Ernest & Ruby Dalton; and Brother, Lindell H Dalton "Bob". She is survived in death by Daughter, Rhonda Inabnitt & husband Eddie Inabnitt of Somerset, KY; Daughter, Sharon Crose of St. Louis, MO; and Granddaughter, Kristen Nicole Crose of Columbia, MO; Step-Grandchildren, Ginger Wise (husband Bryan Wise) & Dustin Inabnitt; Step-Great-grandchildren, Emma, Sophie, and Lola Wise; Nephews, Roger Dalton of Louisville, KY and Scott Dalton of Clearwater, FL.

While Eula Dean was most proud of being a wife, mother, and grandmother, she devoted much of her life to her faith, as a longtime member of Elk Spring Valley Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and also sang in the choir. She was also a long-standing member of the Cooper Extension Homemakers club, among many other local groups throughout her wonderful life in Wayne County. Both her church family and community involvement, brought her immense pleasure & great happiness. She was a kind- hearted, and loyal friend to so many. Eula Dean enjoyed cooking, baking, and especially tending to her bountiful gardens and stunning flowers on the Oil Valley farm, where she called home for nearly 60 years. Her most favorite things in life besides her family and friends, were her morning cups of coffee, Christmas, and the magic and beauty brought about by the emergence of Spring. She will be greatly missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
