Obituary
ETTA E. BROWN was born September 22nd, 1918 in Wayne County, Kentucky and departed this life Wednesday, May 28th, 2003, reaching the age of 84 years. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Silvers and Florence Elizabeth Flynn Silvers.
She is survived by one son-Wallace Brown and two daughters-Faye Jones and Sue Anderson, all of Monticello, KY. She is survived by five grandchildren-Melinda Tippetts, Aleatha Anderson, Aaron Anderson, John Thomas Brown and Andrea Brown and three great grandchildren-Carson and Cameron King and Ian Anderson.
She is also survived by one brother-Paul Silvers of Muncie, IN, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph W. Brown, four brothers-George, Hayden, Luther, and Lindsey Silvers and three sisters-Alma, Pauline and Gladys.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, relative and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Friday, May 30th, 2003 in the chapel.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Saturday, May 31st at 10 AM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Interment: Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
