Obituary
ESTEL ODELL DISHMAN was born February 2nd, 1923 and departed this life Saturday, February 9th, 2008 reaching the age of 85 years. He was the son of the late Austin Dishman and Spicie Gibert Dishman.
He married Laura Hancock who preceded him in death. He later married Josephine Munsey who survives him.
He is survived by: his wife- Josephine Dishman of Monticello, one son- Dennis Dishman of Monticello, KY, 4 daughters- Sharon Rose Dishman of Monticello, KY, Joyce Groce of Albany, KY, Peggy Dishman Paige of Monticello, KY, and Loretta Sidwell of Russell Springs, KY, 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents and his first wife, Laura, he was preceded in death by: two sisters- Zona Pyles and Goergie Dishman, a half sister- Maggie King, and three half brothers- Othie and Larnie Dishman, and Joe Vanderpoole.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Monday, February 11th after 5:30 pm
Funeral Service: Tuesday, February 12th at 10 am
Interment: Chestnut Grove Cemetery
