Estel Alley was born February 15, 1936 and departed this life Thursday, September 18, 2014, reaching the age of 78 years. She was the daughter of the late John Wesley "Wes" and Willie (Parmley) Bell.

She married Prentice Alley and to this union seven children were born.

She is survived by: two sons, Michael and David Alley; two daughters, Carrie Frost and Connie White; four grandchildren, Stephen Dale Frost, Samantha White, Lacey Alley Brown, and Prentis Allen Alley; and one great grandchild, Aiden Campbell and one on the way; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Wes and Willie Bell, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Prentice Alley; two sons, Tommy and Stephen Alley; one daughter, Twyla Godsey; two grandchildren, Cassie Renee Frost and Augustus Bartley White; one brother, Obie Bell; and one sister, Mildred Turner.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 20, 2014 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Parnell Methodist Church Cemetery.
