Ernestine Francis Bowers was born January 12, 1936 and departed this life October 28, 2017 reaching the age of 81 years. She was the daughter of the late Henry Corbett and Lillian Alice (Mann) Worley.

She married John Wesley Bowers and to this union two daughters were born.

She is survived by: two daughters, Tammye Sumpter and Terilyn Bowers; seven grandchildren, Amanda Sweet, Sabrina Cotta, Jennifer Luther, Kevin Finegan, Kyle Howard, Dean Sumpter, and Weslie Bowers; and four great grandchildren, Avery Sweet, Epperly Luther, Lacey Finegan, and Lane Sweet; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, John Wesley Bowers; two brothers, Robert Cromwell and Arlie Thomas Worley; and one sister, Dorothy Jean Clampitt.

Monticello, Kentucky arrangements:
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 between 3 pm – 6 pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.

Tulsa, Oklahoma arrangements:
Visitation will be 12 pm – 2 pm, Friday, November 3, 2017 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK, followed by a service at 2:00 pm, in the chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park in Tulsa, OK.
