Emma Jean Smith was born May 11, 1921 and departed this life Tuesday, May 12, 2009 reaching the age of 88 years. She was the daughter of the late Cleve and Ora Mae (Alley) Coffey.

She is survived by: 1 son, Damon (Mary) Smith of Monticello, KY, 1 daughter, Hilda (Joe) Morrow of Monticello, KY, 5 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: 1 sister, Evalee Bishop; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Hubert Smith, and 1 brother, Adeline Coffey.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: Thursday, May 14th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Friday, May 15th at 1 pm
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
