Emma Jean Richardson was born June 22, 1931 and departed this life Tuesday, October 4, 2016 reaching the age of 85 years. She was the daughter of the late Shellie and Wonzie (Harmon) Pruett.

She is survived by: two daughters, Debra Baker and Ida Dishman (Dan Dishman); one step son, Glen Richardson (Charlene); three grandchildren, Aaron Looney (Stacie), Allison Dalton (Matthew), and Amy New (Steve); six great grandchildren, Shauna Griffin (Josh), Kyle Dalton (Brittany), Kada Dalton, Ryan New, Faith New, and Logan Selby; and one sister, Wanda Lair; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Shellie and Wonzie Pruett, she was preceded in death by: her first husband, Lee McClellan; her second husband, Wilburn Richardson; and one sister, Allene Richardson.

She was a faithful member of the Faith United Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and taking bus tours.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 7, 2016 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
