Obituary
ELSIE IRENE TOLLIVER was born November 10, 1924 and departed this life December 14, 2006 reaching the age of 82 years. She was the daughter of the late Hastings Smith and Rilda Burke Smith.
She married James Tolliver and to this union three children were born.
She is survived by her husband, James Tolliver of Monticello, KY; one son, Jimmy (Joyce) Tolliver of Ezel, KY; two daughters, Bonnie (Calvin) Kennett and Barbara (John) Lyons both of Monticello, KY; two brothers- Hurstle and Novle Smith, six grandchildren, David Lee Lyons, C. J., Jason, and James Kennett, Casey Tolliver, and Gretchen Phillips; and 14 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hastings and Rilda Smith; and four brothers, Howard, Othel, Earl, and Odie Smith.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Saturday, December 16th after 4 pm
Funeral Service: Sunday, December 17th at 3 pm
Interment: New Charity Cemetery
