Elmer Dean "Bud" Lowe was born September 30, 1944 and departed this life Monday, January 3, 2022 reaching the age of 77 years. He was the son of the late John and Tilda (Brown) Lowe.

He married Jewell Stinson and to this union three children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Jewell Lowe; two children, Elmer (Sharon) Lowe, Jr. and Ginger (Bobby) Stinson; two grandsons, Derrick Stinson and Brett Lowe; two great grandchildren; and one sister, Lorene Brummett; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his daughter, Tammy Simpson; brothers, Ova, Opal, Shirley & Hershal Lowe and Robert Stanley Brown; and sisters, Roma Lucille Shelton, Jewellean Pyles, Glenis Decker and Aterine Dishman.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 9, 2022 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, January 10, 2022 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Dishman Cemetery.
