Ellen "Sue" Suzanne Piercy was born September 27, 1950, and departed this life January 8, 2026 reaching the age of 75. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Romer and Lola Florence (Barnett) Coffey.

She is survived by: one son, John David Piercy (Pamela); one daughter, Lisa Rae Piercy Roberts (Anthony); one brother, David Lawrence Coffey. Six grandchildren: John Matthew Piercy (Allison), James David Piercy (Courtney), Sarah Elizabeth Piercy, Tyler Grant Stokes (Susan), Susan Marie Stokes Wolphagen (Lee Roy), and Erin Suzanne Richardson (Tommy). Nine Great grandchildren: John Colton, Robert Clayton, and Campbell Reid Piercy;  Sylvan Porter Stokes; Lihsa "Lia" Renee, Hudson Grant, and Maxson Ray Wolphagen; Olivia Lynn and Marcus Lee Richardson and a host of Nieces and Nephews who loved her.

In Addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: her husband, John Ray Piercy, one daughter, Sheri Lynn Piercy, one great granddaughter, Chandler Grace Piercy, five Brothers, Romer Elmo, Richard Olen, and Troy Edsel, Hershel Leroy, and Clifford Douglas Coffey; two Sisters, Audrey Emagean Coffey Eads, and Thelma Marie Coffey Flynn.

Suzanne was baptized in August 1968 and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church of Monticello, Ky. She was united in marriage to my John Ray Piercy on June 8, 1968 and she was a devoted, loving wife and mother.

She will be sadly missed.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 17, 2026, between 12 pm – 1 pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
