Ellen "Tots" Crabtree was born August 7, 1932 and departed this life Monday, November 24, 2014 reaching the age of 82 years. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Earl and Mary Madeline (Lowe) Dishman.

She is survived by: two daughters, Jewell Blevins and Nina Crabtree; 3 grandchildren, Robert Pitman, Rodney Blevins, and Christina Blevins; and 3 great grandchildren, Myles Pitman, Addison Pitman, and Silas Blevins. She is also survived by: one brother, Wilburn Dishman; one sister, Alice Johnson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Joseph and Mary Dishman, she was preceded in death by: one son, Robert Glenn Crabtree; three brothers, Ray, Clay and Joe Dishman; and three sisters, Gladys Upchurch, Nona Dishman, and Gussie Hobbick.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
