Ellen Katherine Conn was born October 18, 1944 and departed this life Thursday, December 2, 2010 reaching the age of 66. She was the daughter of the late Johnny and Lily (Parmley) Stephenson.

She was united in marriage to Ray Conn and to this union 2 children were born.

She is survived by: her daughter, Joyce "Tad" (Hershel) Atchley of Russell Springs, KY; her son, Joseph Conn of Maryland; and 1 grandson, Richard Ray Atchley. She is also survived by: 2 brothers, Leroy (Eva) Stephenson of Evington, VA and Boyd (Sue) Parmley of Kennard, IN; and 2 sisters, Loretta (Joe)Guerrero of Pontiac, MI and Marie (Jackie) McGuire of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Johnny and Lily Stephenson, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Ray Conn; and 2 brothers, William Inman and John Stephenson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 4, 2010 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 1 (EST) pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Bunch officiating. Burial will be in Parmley's Grove Cemetery.
