Obituary
Elizabeth B. Thompson, age 85 of Miamisburg, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 12, 2016.
Liz was born on May 24, 1931 in Monticello, KY to the late Vernon & Ida Brockman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Thompson in 1995; sister, Mary Rose Reynolds and niece, Terrie Kanthak.
Liz is survived by her brothers, Robert (Barbara) Brockman and Raymond Lucian (Pat) Brockman; nieces, Melody (Steve) Piller, Tambie (Paul) Trask, Kimberly (Matt) Valiante and Jennifer (Kevin) Miller; nephews, Jeff Reynolds and Gordon (Tina) Edwards and many other great-nieces and great-nephews.
Liz was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Carrollton. She worked 30 plus years at DP&L. Liz will be greatly missed-especially at Christmas time and birthdays.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 9-11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11am.
A second visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 10am-12pm at Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home (647 N. Main St., Monticello, KY 42633). The service will follow at 12pm. Elizabeth will be laid to rest next to her husband, Arnold at Elk Spring Valley Cemetery in Monticello, KY.
