Mary Elizabeth Sasser was born August 21, 1972 and departed this life Friday, June 4, 2021 reaching the age of 48 years. She was the daughter of Benny H. Dobbs, Sr. and the late Rita G. (Sexton) Dobbs.

She married Lance Sasser on March 30th, 2002, who survives her.

In addition to her husband, Lance Sasser, she is survived by: one son, Cody Calahan (Natalie); two daughters, Jamiee Garner (Kyle) and Jessica Armstrong (Vince); and five grandchildren, Stella Garner, Tyler, Serenity, Tiffany, and Aiden Calahan. She is also survived by: her father, Benny H. Dobbs, Sr. (Brenda); three brothers, Billy Dobbs (Carolyn), Michael Dobbs (Lisa), and Jonathan Dobbs (Melissa); and one sister, Pam Bridgman (Rodney); along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her mother, Rita Dobbs, she was preceded in death by: her brother, Benny H. Dobbs, Jr.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 between 12 pm – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
