ELBA WILHITE was born January 12, 1922 and departed this life August 26, 2006 reaching the age of 84 years. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Matthews and Myra Ramsey Matthews.

She was united in marriage to Owen Wilhite and to this union one child was born.

She is survived by one daughter, Carolyn (Curtis) Harris of Monticello, KY; one sister, Evva Liptak of Monticello, KY; and three grandchildren, Barrett (Sara Beth) Harris, Bradley, and Benjamin Harris; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by husband, Owen Wilhite; her parents, Harrison and Myra Matthews; one brother, Lyle Matthews; and four sisters, Etta Mae Rankin, Elsie Faye Bertram, Elizabeth Charlene Garner, and Christine Rector.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, August 29th at 10 am
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
