Mary Elaine Huffaker Moore, age 49, was born August 13th, 1953 to Ernest and Lexie Ragan Huffaker. She departed this life on Earth June 6th, 2003 at her home in Monticello, KY.

Elaine accepted Christ in 1965 and was baptized as a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Monticello. She served with her musical talents and was involved in the beginning of Mountain View Baptist Camp.

After graduating from Monticello High School in 1971, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Western Kentucky University and later studied to become a Registered Nurse.

Elaine was married to Jerry Rogers of Bowling Green, KY and together they had one daughter-Cameron Brooke Rogers. After retiring from nursing, Elaine returned home to be near her family.

She is survived by her only daughter-Cameron Rogers of Bowling Green, KY, her mother-Lexie Huffaker of Monticello, KY and two brothers-Donald and Robert Huffaker, three aunts, and five nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Monday, June 9th, 2003 in the chapel.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Tuesday, June 10th, 2003 at 11 AM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Guffey and Bro. Don Randolph officiating.
Interment: Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery
