Edwin Howard Dobbs was born November 15, 1949, and departed this life Wednesday, April 24, 2024, reaching the age of 74 years. He was the son of the late Hershel Ray Dobbs and Vela Lou (Beechboard) Gregory.

He is survived by: three children, Anna (Jerry) Vaughn, Gary Dobbs, and Angela (Mike) Hardesty; and three grandchildren, Cody Hardesty, Emily Vaughn, Kay Lee Hardesty (Jaden) Koontz. He is also survived by:  five sisters, Ina Mae Blevins, Betty Dawes, Debby Zimmerman, Lisa Leatherman, and Ellen Vinson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Hershel Ray Dobbs and Vela Lou Gregory, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann (Davis) Dobbs.

Howard retired from Operating Engineers, Local 181 as a heavy equipment mechanic.

He accepted Christ at a young age.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 27, 2024, between 12:30 pm - 1 pm at Parmley's Grove Cemetery.  Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 1 pm at Parmley's Grove Cemetery with burial to follow.
