EDWIN BELL was born October 15th, 1918 and departed this life April 6th, 2006, reaching the age of 87 years. He was the son of the late Willie Bell and the step-son of the late Irene Burgess Bell.

He was united in marriage to Martha Jewell Dobbs Bell.

He is survived by his wife Jewell, two sons-Mike Bell of Monticello, KY and Donald Joe Bell of Olathe, Colorado, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister-Dorothy Bertram of Monticello, KY, along with several relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-Elvis Bell.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.


Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Sunday, April 9th, 2006 in the chapel.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Monday, April 10th, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Interment: Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
